Optimal harvesting in a two-species model of size-structured population

This chapter is related to size-structured population models. We seek the optimal harvesting rate in a profit maximization problem for a nonlinear size-structured model of two-species population. An optimality condition is given and then the existence of the optimal control is established. The two-species model covers predator–prey system, competitive system, and symbiotic system.
