ABSTRACT
In the previous chapter the new notion of generative order was introduced. Its close relationship to the implicate order and, by extension, the superimplicate order was shown. In this chapter the generative order will be explored further and its importance in physics, cosmology, biology, and consciousness will be discussed. However, it is not the main purpose of this book to use the generative order to develop new scientific theories, although such possibilities should of course be explored in other contexts. Rather, the study of the generative order is aimed at helping to understand the meaning of creativity and to discover what is blocking it.
