ABSTRACT
MAP promotion in Japan started in 1985 when a MAP Japan Meeting was held for the first time. Earlier, a MAP 1.0 demonstration at NCC ’84 in Las Vegas aroused significant interest in MAP specification in the Japanese industrial community, as happened in other parts of the world.
