ABSTRACT
Broadcasting in Japan has been enriched, both in quality and quantity, to a degree not often seen in the world. Because the present broadcasting system has shown such good results in the past, it is considered worthy of continuation into the future. As ground broadcasting networks go, the existing system has reached the stage of the completion of the finishing touches, such as elimination of the few remaining areas not accessible to television service and the adequate provision of FM broadcasting.
