ABSTRACT
Once students securely understand the content they are to write about, they need help in acquiring appropriate language structures to express it. As is shown on pages 38, 50, 62, 70, 78 and 86 each of the text types is characterised by certain language features. The teaching of cross-curricular writing therefore provides many opportunities for revisiting aspects of grammar within a purposeful writing context.
