ABSTRACT
This chapter reviews the findings and arguments from previous chapters and concludes with some thoughts about the future of second home ownership. Diversity has been a recurring theme throughout this book, illustrated by many differences between counties and regions both in the past and in recent development. The theme of globalisation also was explored via international economic processes, including growing mobility and the ICT revolution, which together have created widespread opportunities for second home ownership across the globe.
