ABSTRACT
GCC countries are not only oil-producing countries; they also share among themselves the special characteristic of heavily relying on imported labor. The percentage of expatriates to total population reaches as high as 80 percent or more in the UAE, while the lowest percentage of foreigners is around 20 percent in Oman.
