ABSTRACT

A program’s curriculum must evolve with the counseling ‚eld. The continually expanding base of knowledge and best practices requires schools to alter courses from time to time. Twenty-three programs completed this section of the Data Collection Form. Respondents more frequently listed courses their programs might add; only one indicated that any courses might be dropped. The most common courses to be added to the curriculum included ones about addictions, crisis/violence counseling, crisis intervention, career/life planning, and supervision. Table 14.1 lists these responses.
