ABSTRACT
Life science concepts at high-school level are advanced but build upon what students learned at the earlier grade levels. Students study genetics, in which they investigate the molecules that make up the cells and their functions in various biological processes such as heredity and evolution. On a larger scale, they study interdependence of organisms and their behaviors and organizations in biological systems, and ¬ow of matter and energy through these systems.
