ABSTRACT
This chapter aims to analyze the consequences of the social and political process of Europeanization on the design of European judicial power. The creation of arrest and judicial execution mechanisms at the European level represents an important aspect of the European security field. In that field, which is characterized by a multiplicity of political, social, and judicial entities, the most central instruments of judicial cooperation are the Eurojust unit and the European Arrest Warrant (EAW).
