The next exercises explore how people generate feelings of compassion ¯owing in. Again, this is an exercise that can run up against a lot of resistance (see Point 29), so it is useful to revisit the three circles diagram (page 43) and also the brain map (page 146) to clarify the importance of this exercise and working with resistance. You keep coming back to ``physiotherapy for the mind'' and trying to work around resistance.
