ABSTRACT
Although love and commitment are absolutely necessary conditions of long-term love relationship (LTLR) formation and continuation, they are not sucient to produce lasting LTLR success. True intimacy is the key factor that makes love relationship fulllment over the long term possible. Intimacy is the catalyst that enables love and commitment to last a lifetime, and it is the fuel that sustains a love relationship in its journey through the years.
