ABSTRACT

The book is written as a theoretical and methodological guide to the fi eld. I introduce central issues in current international debates on feminist theory and discuss how epistemological, methodological and ethical issues are articulated and theorized within different branches of feminist thought. Moreover, the book emphasizes that writing processes and issues of method and methodologies are closely connected. From this point of departure, I take a look at the ways in which feminist researchers have challenged academic genres and writing styles and tried to change them.
