ABSTRACT
Epistemology is a philosophical term referring to the setting up of criteria for the production of scientifi c knowledge and defi nitions of what science is. What criteria should be fulfi lled in order to evaluate knowledge production as scientifi c and scholarly? This chapter considers different feminist approaches to the question of epistemology.
