ABSTRACT
The Book of Records of the First Studio of the Moscow Art Theatre provides a unique glimpse into the atmosphere of this theatrical collective. Established by Stanislavsky and Sulerzhitsky, this book was meant to encourage studio members to share their thoughts. They were invited to write on the given performance, on the life of the studio, or perhaps on the art at large.
