ABSTRACT
This chapter will promote early years practice as a creative craft, and the practitioner as a craftsman. The curriculum is a given, but what and how it is delivered is in our gift. Planned learning will be put in the context of projects which extend and develop over time. The practitioner’s role involves modelling play; posing questions which achieve guided discovery.
