ABSTRACT
In the previous chapter we looked at a number of separate disciplines, and it may seem as though there is too much to remember. But as well as being terribly complex, this basic outloook is extremely simple. Let us now look at some of the hints and tips that emerge from all these years of effort. They enable us to distil, as it were, the essence of all this work, and establish the basic rules underlying it.
