ABSTRACT

However, once being seated in the auditorium and looking around, I suddenly noticed that the audience is predominantly white Australians. Richard and I started looking carefully at the appearance of the audience, and finally found one possible Asian-looking person in a distance. Well, two is bigger than one, but still a small number. Having stayed in a multicultural city, Sydney, for some time for my graduate study, I realized that I have almost forgotten the sense of being a visible minority.
