ABSTRACT
Dyslexia is at least as old as humankind. This may appear to be an amazing claim to make but this chapter goes from known facts to ‘thinking outside the box’. This chapter explores some questions that are overlooked or ignored in almost every book on dyslexia. The first of these questions asks why dyslexia is so widespread.
