ABSTRACT
An important part of the tool kit in developing knowledge power, as we have seen from finding a way of defining disciplines, is the concept of a system. The next step in the argument is to explore the set of concepts that are applicable to many systems and in many disciplines – the superconcepts. This enables the development of knowledge power in a way that takes us productively beyond disciplines and will provide many of the enabling concepts for twenty-first century skills.
