ON THE MEANING OF “VERITAS EST ADAEQUATIO REI ET INTELLECTUS”

To say that a person judges correctly, and to say that what he judges is true, are one and the same.

The opposite of “true” is “false”, “incorrect”, “erroneous”. And thus truth is the opposite of error.
