One friend instructs another to draw a rectangle. The person following the instructions takes them literally and deliberately ignores what her instructor ‘really means’.
‘Draw a straight line.’ ‘OK.’ ‘Now draw another line at right angles to the fi rst.’ ‘No, no! The lines must meet!’
