ABSTRACT
Project managers are a relatively new breed of construction professional whose origin probably results from the increased complexity of construction projects and the specialisation of the various parties working within those projects: there are now so many parties engaged in such a complex web of activities that the client requires an additional professional to co-ordinate and keep watch over them.
