ABSTRACT
Major contributory factors towards leaks are as follows.
(a) The chiller vibrates, shaking connections; the remedy is to place the chiller on anti-vibration mountings or frame.
(b) Tight pipe connections put stress on the pipework; the remedy is to use long sweep connections and long flexibles.
