ABSTRACT
The very first Blockbuster store opened in Dallas, Texas, in 1985. After acquiring Errol’s Video, Inc., in 1990, Blockbuster started the following year with over 1,500 operating stores. By the end of 1992, Blockbuster had grown to include more than 3,300 stores.
