Framing the Questions: An Interview with Kevin Murphy, conducted by Rachel Mattson Kevin Murphy is an Associate Professor of History and American Studies at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He is the author of Political Manhood: Red Bloods, Mollycoddles, and the Politics of Progressive Era Reform (2008) and the editor of a special issue of the Radical History Review (2008) entitled “Queer Futures.” An active public historian, he is also a founding member of the Twin Cities GLBT Oral History Project. He has received many awards for his work, including the 2002 Allan Nevins Prize for the Best Written Dissertation in U.S. History.
