ABSTRACT

More than any other female CEOs, Anne Mulcahy and Patricia Russo are alike. A year apart in age, from large families (five children in Mulcahy’s case, seven in Russo’s), each grew up near New York City (Long Island and Trenton, NJ). Both are excellent athletes. Citicorp’s Sandy Weill proposed Russo, with a 12.5 handicap, as a first woman member at Augusta National Golf Club.1
