ABSTRACT
Early in this book I described the artistic journey that Shakespeare’s company of actors undertook and the way they would have developed their craft and understanding in tandem with his progression as a writer. If you have followed these chapters, you will have by now undertaken a journey of your own. My main hope is that I have kindled a passion in you that you can pursue in whatever field you chose – as a student, as a professional or amateur actor or just as a lover of language.
