ABSTRACT
Th is concluding section of the handbook serves as an extended appendix for the entire volume, and is divided into 12 subject areas: (1) Adult/Continuing Education; (2) Commercial Products; (3) Demographics/Statistics and Government; (4) Events; (5) Groups; (6) Higher Education; (7) Internet Tools/Technology; (8) Libraries/Galleries/Museums; (9) Nonprint Media; (10) Parents and Teachers; (11) Periodicals; and (12) Publications. Although we are aware that it is impossible for this section to include all resources available, we feel that it covers the most pertinent resources available for the education of Latinos in the United States and serves as a base for information in this area. But also, because this section has a live component that will continue to be updated daily via the NLEN Web site, we see this compilation as the beginning of an ever-expanding database of resources about Latino education in the United States.
