Development and structure

The focus of this chapter is to show a range of ways in which you could develop and structure your response to the stimulus that your teacher gives you. Unit 3 is marked out of a total of 60 marks which is scaled down to give 40 per cent of the A2 overall, 20 per cent of the A level percentage. A quarter of the available marks are given for your development and structure (i.e. 15 marks out of 60).
