The examiner is looking for you to be creative and imaginative – but also realistic in an approach to the chosen text in section A. There should be a confidence in the response which leads the examiner into your thoughts in relation to both the text and a considered approach to it in relation to the question that has been asked. The questions in section A and B are about rehearsal and performance but the responses will indicate an understanding of the text and its historical context that enables you to bring it to life for company and audience through rehearsal and performance.
