ABSTRACT
Individuals who choose to do this course are often referred to as candidates. One of the first questions candidates enrolling on an NVQ course ask is: what does an NVQ involve? What do I have to do?
NVQs are about demonstrating that you are competent at a particular task or skill, for example being able to give feedback to the teacher on the pupil’s response to a certain activity. Competence is about demonstrating that you are able to do a task and demonstrating that you understand why that task is important.
