ABSTRACT
As already considered, economic integration of the Member States is a primary aim of the EC (Art 2 EC). In order to ensure that this aim is achieved, the EC Treaty provides that all obstacles to the free movement of goods, persons, services and capital be abolished within the Community (Arts 3 and 14 EC).
