ABSTRACT
So far, each chapter has dealt very largely with one topic in the law of evidence. Essay questions in an examination are usually on a specific topic, but that is not generally the way in which examiners set problem questions. In these you are very likely to be given a scenario that will test your knowledge of the law more widely. It is important to get some experience in answering questions of this kind, and the object of this chapter is to provide this opportunity.
