ABSTRACT
Dramas use stories to explore issues of human significance and, like all stories, dramas have to be about something. Because we can suspend the normal rules of time, place and identity, we can make dramas about other people in other places and at other times. Drama gives these stories a form and shape which can make them engaging, thought provoking and exciting for the children who are part of them: dramas should not be boring.
