Homeopathy

Homeopathy-a form of medicinal prescribing-originates in the paradigm of Western medicine. Samuel Hahnemann, a German medical doctor, clearly formulated the philosophy and practice of classical homeopathy (Hahnemann, [1842] 1996). The maxim of homeopathy is the Latin phrase similia similibus curentur, which means “let likes be treated by likes.”
