ABSTRACT
Following the example of Casement (1991), who wrote about ‘learning from the patient’, the intention in this chapter is to offer ‘learning from the process’. The chapter offers help for those who may be considering research in the public sector by developing understanding of the core issues involved while being as practical and supportive as possible.
