ABSTRACT
PeerSpirit circle practice challenges dominant ideologies based on the concepts of hierarchy and individualism through providing a means to equalize power. It allows all voices to be heard and honored and leads to action based on the collective wisdom of the group. I think of it as a methodology that can be used to create professional learning circles in which teachers engage in action
research in the classroom and as a platform for professional meetings in all areas of education.
