ABSTRACT
The data presented in this book illustrates a competing category of masculinities to orthodox masculinities. I show that inclusive masculinities are gaining cultural, institutional and organizational power among white, middle-class, university-attending heterosexual men. Most of the men studied are distancing themselves from the corporeal pissing contest of muscularity, hyper-heterosexuality and masculinity that I grew up with during the mid 1980s.
