ABSTRACT

This chapter addresses the issues of collecting and managing the data. Chapter 10 deals with analysing and interpreting it. These processes act as the precursors to generating evidence from the data. The chapter provides a guide for building an archive of data that may be used as evidence within action research case studies. Be aware that many books offer advice on data gathering, analysis and interpretation; for example, Bell (2005); Cohen et al. (2000); Costello (2003); Hopkins (1993); Koshy (2005); and you would do well to look at these.
