ABSTRACT
In Chapter 1 we set out some ideas about how action research is different from traditional research, so that you can decide whether to use an action research approach for your project. In Chapter 2 we made a case for why you should do action research, improve your knowledge of your practice and articulate its significance as theory generation. In this chapter we outline some key aspects that will enable you to communicate your understanding of practice as generating theory.
