So, schools are hierarchical, with ‘leaders’ paid most and at the top.
There are those who would define a leader as someone who has an ‘authority’ word in their job title. In schools these roles would be: head of department or subject, head of year, director of sixth form, member of the SLT, head teacher, deputy head teacher, etc.
