ABSTRACT

Today’s business managers depend more than ever before on fast and accurate information to make business decisions. The world of business has become highly competitive, not only in the domestic markets, but also in the international arena. Business and economic forecasters are relied upon to assist business managers. The task of a forecast analyst is to provide the decision maker with a variety of forecasts on sales, cash flow, inventory, and cost projections. It may also involve analyzing the policy implications of tax hikes and the effects of tighter monetary policy on the business sector.
