ABSTRACT

Each summer, Educational Testing Service (ETS) hosts a summer intern program consisting of graduate students seeking degrees in research and measurement fields. This opportunity provides them with a chance to learn about the “real world” of testing. A frequent question from this group is “How do you go about figuring out the work for a testing program?” This question reflects precisely what this chapter is about: the psychometric-related planning, issues, and concerns that surround creating and maintaining testing programs that require multiple versions of the same test.
