ABSTRACT

Over the past 10 years, I (first author) have been fortunate to have the opportunity to travel around the country conducting professional development workshops for district leadership teams, principals, teachers, and other school staff on how to cultivate and sustain meaningful partnerships with the families of the students in their schools and districts. I often begin my workshops by asking, “What would you most like to learn about home-school partnerships? What would be the most important ‘take-aways’ for you?”
