ABSTRACT
The investigation of vulnerable populations rests on a number of important methodological matters. This chapter identifies and discusses the following: the data that are employed; the use of relative rates; how risk factors, violence, and post-violence variables are measured; the methods of analysis; and how the data are weighted.
