ABSTRACT
Increasingly work is understood as a mobile activity, displaced from some fixed location within a factory or shop and mobilized across a range of sites such as the home, online, and overseas. The forms of learning that take place within these mobile workplaces are similarly complex and shiing. Creating viable workplace learning practices for the mobile lifestyles characteristic of the contemporary knowledge economy is a significant challenge for educational provision.
