ABSTRACT
Traditionally, ports are sea/land interfaces for the provision of services to their users – carriers, shippers, and passengers. Ports are also an integral part of the world’s transportation system. Further, ports are engaged in nontraditional port activities such as property development and financial, management, and logistics activities.
