ABSTRACT
The games and activities in this chapter have been chosen to give children opportunities to communicate their science in interesting ways that link closely with approaches taught in literacy.
Most of the activities rely on children working together, sharing ideas and drafting and redrafting their writing. In all of the activities the teacher should challenge the children to use the correct scientific vocabulary, where appropriate.
