ABSTRACT
The focus of the activities in this chapter is scientific vocabulary. Children really enjoy using exciting new words, and science has a rich and interesting technical vocabulary; one which children need to learn, otherwise their ability to think, speak and write in science will be limited. In order for children to become fluent in any language they need to see, hear, speak and write the words on a regular basis. Science has its own special language that needs to be used constantly.
